Jay Cohen of Ft. Lauderdale presents Debra Koprowski of the Legal Aid Service of Broward County a cy pres check for $350,000 that will be used to support the daily operations of it and its sister organization, the Legal Aid Service of Collier County.
The legal aid services of Broward and Collier counties are the recent beneficiary of a $350,000 cy pres award.
The group, in a statement, credited the work of former Board of Governors member Jay Cohen of Cohen, Blostein & Ayala in Ft. Lauderdale.
