Florida House and Senate boast over two dozen lawyer-lawmakers
Rep. Daniel Perez House Speaker Daniel Perez, a Miami lawyer who succeeded Palm Coast attorney Paul Renner in November, can count on the expertise of more than two dozen lawyer-lawmakers serving in the chamber, the latest figures show. Florida’s 120-seat House, where Republicans currently outnumber Democrats, 85-33, has 27 lawyer/lawmakers.
