The Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller’s Office recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its Empowerment Room at the West Pasco Judicial Center in New Port Richey.  The room is designed specifically for emergency filings, allowing customers to meet with the clerk’s team in a setting that prioritizes privacy and dignity.

West Pasco County residents seeking emergency court filings now have access to an “Empowerment Room,” a safe, secure, and private space to get help when they need it most.

“Whether someone is a victim of domestic or sexual violence or is filing a petition to save a loved one battling addiction, the emotional weight they carry is immense and deeply personal,” said Pasco County Court Clerk & Comptroller Nikki Alvarez-Sowels.
