Navigation Board declines to reconsider rejection of Criminal Law Section’s AI proposals

The Board of Governors has affirmed an Executive Committee decision to prohibit two Criminal Law Section legislative position requests, including one that would make it a crime to submit AI-generated “deep fakes” as evidence.
At a September 19 meeting in Tampa, the board declined a request to reconsider an Executive Committee decision from earlier this summer.
