Navigation Florida judges to join national forum on growing threats to judiciary
Two Florida county court judges will join a “Speak up for Justice” live forum later this month when the national advocacy group sponsors “Unprotected and Under Fire: State Judges at Risk as Congress Weighs Action.”
Miami-Dade County Judge Carroll J. Kelly, and Dixie County Judge Jennifer J. Johnson will join Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Monica Marquez and others for the free, live-streamed discussion at noon, September 25, the group announced on its website.
“Speak up for Justice,” a non-partisan advocacy group, was formed to counter a recent wave of threats and harassment that judges have endured nationwide.
