A blistering torrent of F-bombs and death threats, the voicemail is one of hundreds that followed a Rhode Island federal judge’s March ruling in a challenge to a White House budget-cutting proposal.
“I don’t know who the hell he (bleeping) thinks he is, but he is stepping way over his (bleeping) boundaries,” the caller shouts. “Tell the son of bitch we’re going to come for him. . . . I wish somebody would (bleeping) assassinate your ass.”
