Several months ago, a learned colleague of the Bar submitted a Letter to the Editor suggesting the Bar increase our fees by about $75 per year and make all Bar-sponsored CLE courses free as a part of our membership.

A flyer from National Business Institute recently landed on my desk offering unlimited access to their library of CLE courses for $119 per month with a 12-month subscription; $1,428 in other words, for all the CLE I need to maintain eligibility to continue to work in the profession.
