17th Judicial Circuit Judges Powell and Eves elected to leadership roles
Judge Jackie Powell has been elected vice president of the Conference of County Court Judges of Florida for the Fourth DCA.
Two county court judges in the 17th Judicial Circuit were recognized during the 2025 Conference of County Court Judges of Florida, held recently in Bonita Springs.
County Court Judge Jackie Powell was elected vice president of the Fourth District Court of Appeal, succeeding fellow 17th Circuit Judge Florence Taylor Barner. In this leadership role, Judge Powell will serve a one-year term on the conference’s executive committee, which is dedicated to advancing the administration of justice and supporting continuing judicial education for county court judges statewide.
