Jared Preiser, a former employee of Cambay Healthcare LLC, has filed a lawsuit alleging religious and sexual orientation discrimination against his former employer. The complaint was filed on May 9, 2025, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. Preiser claims that Cambay Healthcare LLC violated his rights under the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992 by discriminating against him based on his Jewish faith and homosexual orientation.

According to the court documents, Jared Preiser was employed as a Remote Director of Recruitment at Cambay Healthcare since May 2023. He asserts that he was the only Jewish and homosexual employee within the company, which is predominantly managed by individuals of Muslim faith. Despite successfully performing his duties, Preiser alleges that he faced discrimination due to his religious beliefs and sexual orientation. He disclosed these personal aspects to HR, the CEO, and his direct supervisor but claims that accommodations for Jewish holidays were denied while Muslim employees received time off for their holidays.

Preiser further contends that after informing HR about adopting a child expected around October 20, 2023, he took a week off using Paid Time Off when the baby was born on October 14. However, upon returning to work on October 23, he was terminated without warning by Human Resources Manager Howard Hill. Notably, this termination coincided with heightened tensions between Israel and Palestine.
