The Second Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) received applications from thirteen applicants seeking nomination for appointment to the vacancy on the Second Circuit Court created by the retirement of Judge Robert R. Wheeler.

The JNC will interview morning candidates starting at 10 a.m. and afternoon candidates at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2024, at the Leon County Traffic Court at 1920 Thomasville Rd. Tallahassee, FL 32303-5217 on the second floor. Interviews will be held in the order listed below, lasting fifteen minutes with a five-minute break between interviews. Interviews by the Commission will continue until all applicants have been interviewed for the morning and afternoon sessions with a break for lunch.
