Navigation Senate panel moves bill expanding Florida’s vexatious litigant law

Acting on a Supreme Court request, a Senate panel has agreed to significantly broaden the scope of Florida’s “vexatious litigant” law.
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 11-0 on March 19 to approve SB 1650 by Republican Sen. Erin Grall, a Vero Beach attorney. The committee also approved SB 1652, a linked public records exemption.
