Plaintiff Alleges Negligence Against Property Managers Following Slip-and-Fall Incident
James Dingle, a resident of Palm Beach County, has filed a lawsuit against two companies for negligence after suffering serious injuries from a slip and fall incident. The complaint was filed on February 21, 2025, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The defendants named in the case are 855 S. Ocean Blvd., LLC and Quogue Operations Management, LLC.
The lawsuit stems from an incident that occurred on June 24, 2023, when Dingle was visiting the premises located at 855 S. Ocean Blvd., Delray Beach. According to the complaint, Dingle slipped and fell on an exterior stairwell due to an “unreasonably slick surface,” which he claims created a highly dangerous condition. As a result of this fall, Dingle alleges he sustained serious injuries leading to pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, and other losses including medical expenses and loss of earnings.
Dingle accuses both defendants of breaching their non-delegable duties by failing to maintain the property in a reasonably safe condition and not warning him of any potential dangers. The complaint outlines specific failures such as not correcting known dangerous conditions or conducting operations in a negligent manner. Furthermore, it is alleged that both companies either knew or should have known about these hazardous conditions long enough to take corrective action but failed to do so.
