The Senate Judiciary Committee voted unanimously this week to approve a measure designed to prevent self-dealing in court-ordered auctions.

The committee voted 10-0 on Tuesday to approve SB 48, “Transparency in Judicial Sales or Foreclosure Sales Act” by Sen. Ileana Garcia, R-Miami.
