A Broward County resident has taken legal action against a Boca Raton business, alleging negligence that led to severe injuries. Marc Power filed a complaint on December 26, 2024, in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, against Frozen Fun, LLC, doing business as Boca Ice & Fine Arts Center.

The lawsuit stems from an incident on August 10, 2024, when Power visited the Boca Ice & Fine Arts Center as a business invitee. According to the complaint, Frozen Fun LLC was responsible for maintaining safe premises at their commercial building located at 900 Peninsula Corp. Circle in Boca Raton. Power claims that the company failed in its duty to keep the premises free from dangerous conditions and hazards. The complaint states that due to negligent maintenance and failure to provide safe ingress or egress from the bumper car section of their facility, Power slipped and fell, resulting in severe injuries.

Power’s complaint outlines several allegations against Frozen Fun LLC. It accuses the company of creating or allowing a hazardous condition on their property through their agents and employees. The document further alleges that Frozen Fun negligently hired or failed to supervise personnel who contributed to this dangerous environment. Specifically, it accuses them of failing to inspect the premises adequately and neglecting to warn visitors about existing dangers or latent defects.
