Plaintiff alleges Convenience Store Operator Vishnukrupa LLC of Assault by Employee
In a dramatic legal showdown, a Florida woman has filed a lawsuit against a well-known convenience store chain, alleging assault by one of its employees. The complaint was lodged by Tina Warren in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, on November 22, 2024, targeting Vishnukrupa, LLC, which operates under the brand name 7-11 Stores.
The case stems from an incident that occurred on July 3, 2023, when Tina Warren visited a 7-Eleven store located at 5530 10th St. S., St. Petersburg. According to the complaint, Warren was involved in a dispute over payment with an employee named Myles Jenkins. During this altercation, Jenkins allegedly threw a Big Gulp cup filled with lemonade at Warren’s head. Despite there being no visible injuries reported immediately after the incident, Warren claims she experienced pain in her head and neck as a result of the attack.
The legal document details that three other customers witnessed the incident and provided corroborating statements supporting Warren’s account. Jenkins was arrested at the scene without any resistance and reportedly made spontaneous admissions to committing battery before choosing not to make any further statements post-Miranda rights reading. Notably, Jenkins has a prior conviction for sexual battery, which elevates this alleged offense to felony status.
