Health Law Section Chair Jamaal R. Jones, Sr., inspires future lawyers through campus outreach
Florida Bar Health Law Section Chair Jamaal R. Jones, Sr., and Chair-elect Rupasri S. “Rupa” Lloyd educate students from the University of Florida College of Law on health law’s “dynamic role” in the legal field, share insights into a “day in the life” of a health lawyer, in an attempt to inspire a new generation to enter this area of law.
Jamaal R. Jones, Sr., is spearheading an initiative during his year as Health Law Section chair to promote the practice of health law through outreach presentations at Florida law schools.
Jones aims to educate students on health law’s “dynamic role” in the legal field, share insights into a “day in the life” of a health lawyer, and attempt to inspire a new generation to enter this area of law. Jones has already made strides in his outreach with presentations at Florida State University College of Law and the University of Florida Levin College of Law, with more law school engagements planned throughout 2024 and 2025.
