Jones Foster volunteers at Palm Beach County Food Bank During Hunger Action Month
Jones Foster employees gathered at the Palm Beach County Food Bank in Lake Worth Beach for two afternoon shifts to assemble packages of dried pasta for local food pantry distribution as well as bags of nutritious, easy-to-prepare food that school-age children could bring home for weekend meals. JF team members also met with PBCFB CEO Jamie Kendall, far right, and board chair Marti LaTour, far left, and toured the 24,000-square-foot expanded facility.
Jones Foster recently provided support to the Palm Beach County Food Bank (PBCFB) through its impact community involvement program.
The firm chose to volunteer with the nonprofit during Hunger Action Month, which is observed in September, to raise awareness of the cause and support the role the organization plays in the community to combat food insecurity through its many programs designed to meet the basic needs of children, families, and senior citizens.
