NextGen Exam

The Florida Supreme Court’s approval of the Florida Board of Bar Examiner’s (FBBE) recommendation to begin to use the NextGen Bar Examination is a major step forward. It will provide a necessary skills component to Florida’s bar exam.

As a member of the FBBE Practice Analysis Panel that reviewed these issues and having served as the chair of The Florida Bar’s Student Education and Admission to the Bar Committee when the court raised the bar exam passing score, I am confident that this recommended change to the Florida bar exam will enable us to better assure the public as to the qualifications of Bar applicants.
