Peter Sweeney

Peter J. “Pete” Sweeney, Jr., is the new chair of The Florida Bar City, County, and Local Government Law Section for the 2024-2025 Bar year.

Sweeney is a managing partner at Block & Scarpa and serves as the town attorney for the Town of Indian River Shores. He is the only attorney in Florida who is Florida Bar board certified in both Construction Law and City, County, and Local Government Law.
