Rep. Hillary Cassel

Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed a bipartisan measure, crafted with the help of the Family Law Section, that would mandate safe locations in every county for parents to exchange minor children.

DeSantis late Wednesday signed HB 385 by Democratic Rep. Hillary Cassel, an Orlando attorney, and Republican Rep. Joel Rudman, a Navarre physician. Sen. Clay Yarborough, R-Jacksonville, sponsored the companion, SB 580.
