Gov. Ron DeSantis will soon decide the fate of a bill that is designed, in part, to shield waterfront property owners from legal challenges.

Lawmakers earlier this week forwarded to DeSantis SB 702 by Republican Sen. Jonathan Martin, a Ft. Myers attorney and former prosecutor.
