In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, a civil lawsuit has been filed by Mary Blanca Lam Garcia against Justin Robert De Fonzo. The case, bearing the number 24-001728-CI, was filed on April 18, 2024. Ms. Lam Garcia is represented by Alberto M. Lara from The Pendas Law Firm.

The plaintiff alleges that on August 3, 2023, she was involved in a car accident in Pinellas Park, Florida. She was a passenger in a green 2007 Toyota Camry when her vehicle was struck from behind by the defendant’s gray 2007 Mercury Mariner. Mr. De Fonzo allegedly failed to observe that Ms. Lam Garcia’s vehicle had stopped and accelerated into it.

As a result of this collision, Ms. Lam Garcia claims to have suffered permanent bodily injuries and is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 within the jurisdictional limits of the court. She accuses Mr. De Fonzo of negligence for failing to maintain control of his vehicle and not observing stopped traffic.
