Reflecting Stetson Law’s deep ties to higher education institutions throughout the region, Rhea F. Law, University of South Florida president and CEO, will deliver the college of law’s commencement address on May 18, 2024.

A Stetson Law alumna, Law has led an exemplary career that includes leading a large merger between a state and national law firm, holding leadership positions at top Florida organizations, and helping USF secure an invitation to join the Association of American Universities, a prestigious group of leading research institutions.

The first USF graduate to serve as university president, Law began serving as USF’s interim president in August 2021 and was confirmed to the role in a unanimous vote by the Florida Board of Governors in March 2022. She has previously served on Stetson Law’s Board of Overseers, including as chair, as well as on Stetson University’s Board of Trustees, and was inducted to the Hall of Fame.
