Winn-Dixie is facing a class-action lawsuit accusing the grocer of running unfair and deceptive “Buy One, Get One Free” ads.

Named plaintiffs Eric Bechtel, Kevin Everson and Robbie Sayde filed the federal lawsuit on behalf of themselves and others similarly situated.

They say Winn-Dixie inflates the price of the first product in its “Buy One, Get One Free” (BOGO) ads to cover the cost of the second “free” product. That, they claims, is a violation of Federal Trade Commission Regulations and Florida law.
