Navigation Bill to protect clerk employees’ identities is on its way to the floor

A bill that would create a public records exemption for court clerks, their deputies, and clerk personnel, is heading to the House floor.
The House Judiciary Committee voted 19-0 on Tuesday to approve HB 983 by Democratic Rep. Dan Daley, a Coral Springs prosecutor. The bill sailed through two previous committee stops without a negative vote.
