Some district court of appeal judges would be authorized to establish more convenient “alternate headquarters” under a measure that is moving through the Legislature.

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 10-0, with no debate January 16, to approve SB 570 by Republican Senators Danny Burgess of Zephyrhills and Erin Grall of Vero Beach, both attorneys.
