A former employee has accused Allied Universal Corp. of sex discrimination.

Denise Ives filed her federal lawsuit against the company alleging she was subjected to sex discrimination and wrongful termination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 during her employment with the company.

Ives claims she worked in a “boys club” atmosphere where sex discrimination was encouraged, rewarded and protected. She says male officers downplayed any wrongdoing of other male officers and female officers were encouraged to go along with overt sexual behavior.
