ORLANDO — A former employee is suing the Florida Conference Association of Seventh-Day Adventists, alleging it violated the U.S. Fair Labor Standards Act.

The defendant is doing business as Orlando Junior Academy.

Jennifer French was employed from 2003 until 2023 with the defendant in various positions over the years, according to a complaint filed Nov. 15 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
