MIAMI — A Canadian man is suing Carnival Corporation claiming it’s responsible for injuries he sustained in an assault while he was waiting to disembark one of its cruise ships.

Jeffrey Post claims the defendant, who owns and controls the Carnival Panorama cruise ship, is liable for negligence resulting in serious long-term injuries, according to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

The incident occurred on November 19, 2022, when the plaintiff, a paying passenger, was assaulted by an assailant while standing in line to disembark.
