The Miami International Arbitration Society (MIAS) hosted the first-ever Miami Arbitration Week (MAW) November 8-15, welcoming business executives and skilled legal practitioners from across the globe to discuss complex and high stakes arbitration matters.
In recent years, Miami has become an innovative and preferred alternative to traditional international arbitration centers such as London, New York, or Geneva, particularly for disputes arising from Latin America and the Caribbean, according to MIAS. Miami has also rapidly emerged as an international business and financial gateway between the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
