St. Johns County Legal Aid conducted a mock trial at Hartley Elementary for the fourth and fifth graders as part of the Justice Teaching program.

“This mock trial comes at the end of our Justice Teaching classes where we learn about the Bill of Rights and basics of the Constitution — then the students can see those amendments ‘in action’ during the the trial,” said Megan Wall, managing attorney of St. Johns County Legal Aid. “It’s very educational and entertaining.”
