Navigation YLD conference recognizes ‘outstanding’ local affiliate projects
Young lawyers from across the state recently gathered in Daytona Beach to network, exchange ideas, and get the most up-to-date information about young lawyer issues and resources while competing for grant funding at The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division’s annual Affiliate Outreach Conference.
“With over 100 attendees from affiliates across the state, great sponsors, and speakers present, the AOC was a success by all measures,” AOC Co-Chairs Ashlea Edwards and Brandon Sapp said in a statement. “AOC was a dream! With hard work and affiliate participation, AOC was exactly what we hoped for — an engaging and productive space for young lawyers to meet one another and share ideas to make our profession better than ever.”
As part of the program, the YLD awards grants to its local affiliates and presented awards for unique grant presentations, the best written application, large/mid-sized/small affiliates of the year, best joint events, best service projects, and more.
