Attorney General Ashley Moody is backing new legislation to permanently add nitazene compounds, also known as “Frankenstein opioids,” to the list of Schedule I substances in Florida.

Sen. Jason Brodeur, R-Lake Mary, is sponsoring the legislation, SB 736.
