Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Javier Enriquez of Miami to serve as judge on the 11th Judicial Circuit Court

 Enriquez has served as a judge on the Miami-Dade County Court since his appointment by DeSantis in 2021. Previously, he served as the general counsel and chief ethics officer for the Department of Children and Families. He received his bachelor’s, master’s, and law degrees from the University of Miami. Enriquez fills the judicial vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Maria Dennis.
