ORLANDO, Fla. (Legal Newsline) – An amateur soccer player blames his league and the owner of the building in which it plays for a brawl between teams.

Juan Sebastian Bonilla Marentes filed a lawsuit Aug. 25 in Florida’s Orange County Circuit Court against Orlando Indoor Soccer and HMP Investment, Inc. The lawsuit stems from a fight on July 18, 2021 – Marentes calls it a “brutal attack.”

Marentes played for Orlando Red, the suit seems, and was in the “common areas” of the OIS facility, owned by HMP, when a team of players from Chile “began to punch and kick” him and his teammates, the suit says.
