New Sixth DCA generates ‘a lot of excitement’ from appellate practitioners

Navigating the launch of a Sixth District Court of Appeal — and newly redrawn district boundaries — will require some diligence, but it won’t be disruptive for most Florida lawyers, says a veteran Tallahassee appellate practitioner.
“I think by the time you get through three years of law school you know pretty much how to adapt to change,” quips Thomasina Moore, who is of counsel with Gray Robinson. “Will it be a pain? Will I have to read a new rule? Well, yeah, but that’s life.”
