The staff and summer interns of Dade County Legal Aid and their families enjoyed a Florida Marlins ballgame in Miami recently. Although the Marlins did not get the win, Legal Aid Executive Director Karen Ladis said a great time was had by all. “Thank you to the Marlins for supporting Dade Legal Aid,” Ladis said. It’s that time of year to renew pledges to take on a case pro bono through Dade Legal Aid. Case areas include domestic violence, divorce, evictions, foreclosure, collections, bankruptcy, immigration, employment, and probate. Volunteer today to accept a case and donate legal services for underprivileged children, foster youth, low-income individuals, families, veterans, unaccompanied minor children, and elderly residents in need of critical legal representation. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER with Dade Legal Aid – Put Something Back to to fulfill your annual pro bono aspirational goals.
