The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education is currently accepting applications from board certified members due to recertify in 2022.

Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification demonstrates a lawyer’s significant commitment to and experience in a specialty field of law. Board certified lawyers have dedicated themselves to a heightened level of excellence through character, professionalism, ethics, and credibility in the practice of law.

The Florida Bar board certification program offers 27 areas of law, and over 5,000 board-certified lawyers, making it the largest board certification program in the country.
