Trapp seeks Bar readmission
Richard Earl Trapp of Orlando has submitted an application with the Florida Board of Bar Examiners for Bar readmission.
Trapp was disbarred in 2013 pursuant to order SC13-1339, after a Bar audit of Trapp’s trust account found that during the period January 1, 2012, to February 28, 2013, Trapp transferred clients’ third-party cost funds from his trust account to his operating account, then failed at times to pay those costs prior to paying his personal and business expenses. Trapp commingled funds, and he failed to maintain compliant trust account records and follow proper accounting procedures.
The Board of Bar Examiners will conduct a public hearing on Trapp’s application for readmission on March 11, 2022. If you wish to be notified of the time and place of the hearing, submit a written request to Michele A. Gavagni, Executive Director at the Florida Board of Bar Examiners, 1891 Eider Court, Tallahassee 32399-1750, or send an email to support@floridabarexam.org.
