Legal Aid wants your work or money. What are they doing with it?

I recently received a request for pro bono or alternative financial contribution in lieu of service to Legal Aid of Manasota. As my admission in Florida is for the limited purpose of general counsel as an employee of a local company, I am not permitted to practice in the courts. I did offer my services to assist the Board of Legal Aid in the development of an appropriate screening process.
