The Legislature has agreed to expand 1979 Right to Farm Act protections against “nuisance suits,” over the objections of environmental advocates and some Democrats.

The House voted 110-7 to send CS/CS/CS SB 88 by Sen. Jason Brodeur, R-Lake Mary, to Gov. Ron DeSantis. It cleared the Senate 37-1 on March 18.
