Out-of-state referral services and personal injury lead generating companies would be limited in how they could advertise in Florida for clients possibly injured by prescription drugs and medical devices under bills moving in the Florida Legislature.

On March 16, the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Subcommittee approved HB 1483. The Senate Commerce and Tourism Committee followed that by approving SB 1992 on March 22. Both passed unanimously.
