The Board of Governors is considering amendments to Bar rules that would ease restrictions on lawyers whose ads link to social media sites, or whose commercials feature reenactments and actors.
At a March 5 Board of Governors meeting, Board Review Committee on Professional Ethics Chair Michael Fox Orr presented, on first reading only, proposed amendments to a series of advertising rules, including 4-7.16 Presumptively Valid Content.
