An effort to have uniform document descriptions between counties in the Florida court system’s e-filing Portal is moving forward, following action by the Florida Courts Technology Commission.

The FCTC, at its February 5 meeting, voted to forward to the Office of State Courts Administrator a classification of document types prepared by the Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers Standardization Committee. That committee was chaired by Sarasota Clerk of Court Karen Rushing, who is also a FCTC member.
