Four incumbent state attorneys were reelected in the November 3 general election while two new state attorneys were elected to open posts in the Ninth and 17th circuits.
In the Ninth Circuit, Democrat Monique Worrell defeated Republican Jose Torroella 65.73% to 34.27%. She will replace retiring State Attorney Aramis Ayala.
In the 17th Circuit, Democrat Harold Fernandez Pryor outpolled Republican Gregg Rossman 63.52% to 36.48% to replace retiring State Attorney Michael Satz.
