Criminal Law Section looks to increase its reach

The Criminal Law Section, with more than 2,300 members and one of the Bar’s largest, is beefing up its operation.

Section Chair Warren Lindsey, a board-certified criminal defense lawyer from Winter Park, and 13th Judicial Circuit Judge Samantha Ward, who serves as section secretary, recently proposed that the section begin recruiting sponsors.

To that end, the Executive Council last month approved the formation of a Sponsorship Committee, according to Executive Council member and Sponsorship Committee Chair David Rothman of Miami.
