Inaugural Florida Black Lawyers Summit brings together 15 voluntary bars

For the first time, the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter National Bar Association (VHFCNBA) joined with 14 voluntary bar associations from across Florida for the inaugural Florida Black Lawyers Summit & Judicial Reception on November 14 at the Marriott Orlando Downtown and Florida A&M University College of Law.
More than 300 judges, lawyers, and law students filled the ballroom as VHFCNBA President Brendalyn Edwards opened the event with a call to strengthen the statewide network of Black legal professionals.
